The Japanese Cultural Center of Hawai‘i’s 23rd ANNUAL NEW YEAR’S ‘OHANA FESTIVAL
This fun-filled event will feature food, crafts, entertainment and cultural demonstrations.
This year the festival will feature over a dozen food vendors including favorites such as okonomiyaki, KC Waffle Dogs, shave ice, and andagi to name a few.
There will also be dozens of craft vendors, games for children, mochi pounding and martial arts demonstrations.
There will be a packed schedule of entertainment on two stages including a performance by Ohana Arts, the Royal Hawaiian Band and Taiko Center of the Pacific!
The New Year’s ‘Ohana Festival will be a great way for the community to come together and celebrate the Year of the Monkey in 2016!
You won’t want to miss this annual tradition as we mark 23 years of ringing in the New Year and celebrating Hawai‘i’s cultural diversity.

Location: Japanese Cultural Center of Hawai‘i and Mō‘ili‘ili Field (2454 South Beretania Street)
Date and Time: Sunday, January 10, 2016, from 10:00 am – 4:00 pm
Entry fee: Free admission into the festival. There are fees for certain activities.
Parking is available at the University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa parking structure on Dole Street for a flat rate with complimentary shuttle service to and from the festival.
